Jay Mages Will Serve on the Long Range Planning Committee of Chicago IIA

Jay Mages Joins DePaul University’s Internal Audit Advisory Committee

Jay was appointed to DePaul University’s Academic Advisory Committee for the 2009-2010 academic year. The committee provides curriculum guidance on internal audit classes taught at DePaul. Jay is also a guest lecturer and speaks on Quality Assurance (QA) to DePaul students.

R&M Moves to New Office

On May 16, 2008, R&M moves into new office space at 205 N. Michigan Avenue. Michigan Plaza, a class A office complex located in downtown Chicago’s East Loop, was inspired by world-renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

Jay Mages’ upcoming workshops for new audit managers

Through the Institute of Internal Auditors, Jay will be teaching a four-day training seminar that emphasizes tools and techniques for new audit managers. The seminar will be held in Las Vegas, July 23–27, 2007, and also in Orlando, November 5–9, 2007.

Teaching IIA classes keeps Jay Mages energized

On an ongoing basis, Jay Mages leads training seminars through the Institute of Internal Auditors. His seminars cover a wide range of audit topics and provide him with an extra avenue for honing his expertise. “One of the things I like most about teaching these sessions is that it keeps me energized,” Jay says. “It’s one thing to understand internal audit principles and it’s another to share them in a way that enables people to learn. Teaching offers me a way to give back to my profession.”
