In her 20+ years in tax, one thing has always remained constant: passion. Kim has always been most interested in solving problems for clients and developing long-term relationships.

She likes to work closely with her clients, developing tailored solutions that best reflect their wants and needs. Clients are still the reason that she comes to work every day, and helping them is still the best reward.

She's able to support her clients thanks to the specialized expertise she's developed in tax compliance and consulting. She's worked at KPMG, Ernst & Young and within large corporate tax departments. Most recently, prior to starting her own firm, she was Vice President and Managing Director for a national tax and internal audit consulting firm, where she built and managed the firm's Chicago office and established the tax services practice area.

Outside of R&M, she is active in both the tax community and the community as a whole. She serves on the Women's Executive Committee of the Illinois CPA Society where she chairs a committee that created a mentoring program for women in accounting, as President of The Chicago Tax Club, on the Women's Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo and on the Emeritus Board of Second Sense. She is an involved member of the Chicago Finance Exchange and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She was also honored to be named one of the "40 Under 40" leaders in the tax and accounting profession by the CPA Technology Advisor.
